Unique work
A dense crowd presses forward, saturating the space to the point of near suffocation. Faces surface momentarily, marked by expressions of pain, disorientation, and fatigue, before dissolving again into the surrounding mass. The proximity of bodies generates both pressure and contact, where individuals are at once constrained and sustained by one another.
Light flickers across these unstable faces, revealing fragments of emotion that never fully settle. Rather than clarifying the scene, it exposes a fragile state in which presence is constantly threatened. Within this compression, gestures of support appear—figures leaning, holding, or simply remaining together—suggesting that the collective, while eroding individuality, also becomes a condition of survival.
Disappearance here does not imply total loss. The figures persist through one another, caught in a tension between collapse and support. The image holds this ambivalence: a space where identities falter, yet do not fully vanish, sustained within the very density that obscures them.
