"Flower’s Planet" is a large-scale abstract artwork by Ghone, inspired by the idea of a fantastical world where flowers bloom freely in space. The creative process began with Ghone dropping layers of color onto the canvas—shades of blue, purple, orange, and brown formed the first background, resembling an abstract landscape filled with cosmic energy. He patiently waited for the paint to dry before continuing, allowing the colors to settle naturally, creating organic textures and flows.
Once the base layer was complete, Ghone added delicate white and grey lines across the surface. As days passed and Ghone revisited the canvas, these lines evolved, becoming flowing trails and drips that meandered across the painting, shifting from an accidental figure into a larger abstract form. Ghone decided to introduce brighter, livelier colors to bring his "flower planet" to life. He dropped pink, yellow, green, blue, and white across the canvas, mimicking the natural burst of flowers in bloom.

For the final step, Ghone used a roller to spread and merge the layers, blending the textures while still preserving the contrast between the background and the blooming colors. The result is a dynamic and imaginative composition that captures both the randomness of nature and the freedom of a child’s creativity.

Like Pollock, Ghone uses gravity and movement to guide paint flows, allowing spontaneity and chance to be part of the creative process. The initial background layers especially evoke Pollock’s abstract, fluid gestures.

“Flower’s Planet” represents Ghone’s evolving relationship with his artwork—starting from exploration, finding unexpected shapes, and finishing with a bold decision to fill the canvas with life and color. It is a celebration of curiosity, patience, and the beauty of transformation.
